Creating a home for yourself is a rewarding gift. It is a gift filled with the experiences of crafting structures and forging relationships.
I learned so much in the process; yes, about building and contractors, materials, and supplies. But, just as important is what I learned about myself: who I am, what I want, what I am capable of, and how I deal with challenges and rewards along the way.
Creating a house, like life, is done one brick, one block at a time. I have made an attempt on these pages to chronicle the building blocks that allow for a better understanding of many these processes.
I hope my writing will further inspire you to take on a project of your own - building a home or creating something else that lets you reach beyond your preconceived limitations.
